Today I opened my email and came across one of the many reasons why I am absolutely so grateful in life. My brother wrote me the following email;

Jojo,

I just wanted to say you make me very proud.  From your hard work putting together your own LLC to your dedication to all the work you do, you make me beam with adulation and admiration.  I’m very happy that you finally got the job you wanted…But make us proud and live out the life you deserve.  And enjoy every moment of it.  I hope you continue to find success wherever you go whether its in NY, MN, MN, London or the Philippines or some other country.  Just remember you will always have a home with your family whether its with your brothers, sisters or parents so long as it is with someone who loves you regardless.

Also remember…be aware of your surrounding.  From physical i.e. the taxi driving in front of you, the person chatting on their cell next to you, to the dog running loose down the street.  To your feelings, be aware of your instinct…be aware of what and who you trust and ask why,…and be aware of the false warm feelings that are derived when you’re doing something you think you like but you really don’t just so you can feel connected.  Be aware of your spiritual side, …take time to meditate and take time to feel and feed your spirit by giving offerings and rememberance to your elders that have passed, projecting your positive being and and spending time on things that make your soul feel good.
